Two more leading transport companies, Horley Services Group and Debach Enterprises, have moved from their previous pallet networks to join PalletFORCE, one of the fastest-growing palletised distribution networks in the UK.
Horley Services Group has switched from Palletways to PalletFORCE, joining Jempsons and A K Worthington who have also recently made the same move. With a 2.5-acre site in Redhill and a second facility in Chichester, Horley Road Services is one of the longest-established and most successful family-owned transport and distribution companies in the South East. The company has a firm commitment to customer service and quality, which was a key factor behind its move to PalletFORCE. Managing director Iain Mays explained, “We were impressed by PalletFORCE’s shareholder membership structure which allows members to have a greater involvement in the overall operation of the network and also safeguards quality service levels, because all operators work together to deliver high standards.” Quality was also an important issue for Debach Enterprises which has moved to PalletFORCE to maintain the high service levels and quality standards required by its customers. The company was formerly a member of Fortec and has most recently been working with UK Pallets, inputting pallets into its network. Bee Kemball, Deputy Managing Director said, “Upon joining PalletFORCE, we noticed very quickly the difference in service levels compared with other operators. The central hub controls operations very efficiently, and all members display the same commitment to quality service and teamwork which are key factors behind the network’s success.” Moving to PalletFORCE, the two new members are joining a rapidly expanding network, which now has over 85 strategically-located membership depots, more than 3,000 vehicles and over 3 million sq.ft. of warehousing. |
