JEMPSONS JOINS PALLETFORCE 30/9/2004

Jempsons, the large and well-respected regional transport company which carries a substantial volume of palletised freight, is to leave the Palletways network to join PalletFORCE.

The decision has been made in the long-term interests of the company, with a key objective being the continued enhancement of service levels.

Jonathan Jempson, managing director commented, “Following discussions with PalletFORCE and a visit to the central hub in Lichfield, Staffordshire, we were very impressed by the commitment to quality and service, and also the company’s structure which offers full co-operation and equality of decision-making between the network and the shareholder members to ensure efficiency and high standards across the operation.”

Jempsons will cover the TN postcode and various other local areas and the new service will be up and running latest by 26th February 2005 when its current contract with Palletways expires.

With over 75 years’ experience, Jempsons has established an impressive track record in the industry. Customer service is an integral part of Jempsons' philosophy, which is reflected across the company’s operations, resulting in long-term partnerships with many of its customers.
