Online Roadways has been voted Depot of the Year by PalletFORCE members in the network’s annual awards scheme.

The winners of the awards scheme were revealed following the PalletFORCE AGM, held recently at Heythrop Park, Oxfordshire. 270 guests including representatives from the network’s 70 members attended a special awards ceremony to find out the winners of the four coveted categories: Depot of the Year, the Sales Award, Outstanding Contribution to the Network and the Achievement in Excellence.

Depot of the Year is a special award voted for by all the network’s members. Nominations are invited from all members, who are asked to base their choice on wide-ranging criteria including customer service, delivery performance, warehousing and storage facilities, extent of services available and quality control.

Romford-based Online Roadways was this year’s winner with members highlighting in particular the outstanding levels of customer service offered by the company.

Cliff Glassock of Online said “We operate a fleet of 80 vehicles and offer extensive warehousing facilities at our distribution centre near Dagenham. Both our domestic and European operations are open 24/7 and our priority is to provide a first class service so we are delighted that our achievements have been recognised by this prestigious award.”
This year’s Sales Award was presented to Simpson Brothers, the Outstanding Contribution to the Network went to H Young Transport and joint winners shared the Achievement in Excellence Award: Edwin C Farrell and Ranger Transport Services.
