Stevenage transport company Beattie Brothers has switched its palletised distribution network to PalletFORCE, one of the fastest-growing networks in the UK.
The decision has been made in the long-term interests of the company and its customers, with a key objective being the continued enhancement of service levels. Beattie Brothers has been recruited as a Shareholder Member Depot for the SG & AL postcodes replacing GSI, a temporary Depot. Ian Beattie, Managing Director of Beattie Brothers, commented, “Being part of a network is vital to widening the scope of our service; it enables us to offer a full range of transport services to all our customers. Nevertheless, it’s vital to choose a network where every member is committed to the same service and quality values as ourselves'. “With reliability and quality of service our key critiera, we feel that PalletFORCE’s unique member-owned structure can best guarantee the expected level of efficiency and high standards to meet our requirements,” he adds. Established in 1985, Beattie Brothers has over fifty employees and a fleet of twenty-four vehicles. With 15,000 sq. ft. of warehousing on a site covering one and three-quarter acres, the company is ideally placed to deliver storage and distribution solutions, plus a pick and pack option. Accordingly, it has an extensive customer base across a wide range of industries from plastics to paper & metals to pharmaceuticals.
