PalletFORCE brought a touch of Hollywood glamour to its fifth annual Gala Awards Dinner on Saturday 12th May, with an Oscar theme ensuring that the Networks members received  the star treatment.

Held at the London Metropole, the event recognised and rewarded the Network’s outstanding performers over the past year.  Nearly 400 Shareholder Members enjoyed entertainment from M.C. and comedian Ian Richards and music from the Birmingham Blues Brothers.

Edwin C Farrall & Sons was announced as PalletFORCE Depot of the Year for the third time, whilst Lichfield International Freight Ltd won the coveted Members Depot of the Year Award.  Evans Transport took home the Sales Award and A & RM Chapman received the(Members Service Committee Award.

The Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Network went to Chief Executive Mick Scarlett, in recognition for his tireless work in making PalletFORCE one of the country’s most renowned palletised distribution networks.

“Without Mick, none of us would be here to celebrate PalletFORCE’s success,” comments Trevor Mudd, Marketing and Business Development Manager.  “In the past year we have reached two significant milestones – five years of operation and five million pallets handled – so as this was also our fifth Gala Awards Dinner we felt the time was right to reward Mick’s efforts.”
