It is wonderful to think that I have played a part in that.” IFW Awards Finalist 2011
Palletforce’s dedication to training staff to the highest level was highly commended in the People Development category at the International Freighting Weekly Awards 2011. The innovative project was shortlisted for the award’s People Development category for our creation of a Fork Lift Truck Driving Academy based at our central hub. The academy aims to ensure that, through training and development, our FLT drivers are highly skilled to work efficiently – throughout the day, but especially at night when the hub is at its busiest. This is the second year in a row that we have been nominated for an IFW Award – in 2010 we gained two nominations. Our members were also recognised individually in 2010 for their work including PD Ports as winner of the IFW Supply Chain Partnership Award and Simarco as finalists in the IFW Freight Forwarder of the Year category.
