Rising rally star looks to impress in his home event
RALLY ace John MacCrone is looking for a strong result on home soil in The Rally of Scotland.
The Palletforce / Tunnocks backed Rally Team Scotland driver and his co-driver Stuart Loudon are looking to show their speed and skill during three days of competitive driving.
The timed Special Stages are being held on closed Forestry Commission Scotland gravel roads in Stirling, Perth & Kinross and North Lanarkshire.
“John and Stuart are one of the most promising rallying talents in the UK and everyone at Palletforce wishes them the very best of luck in his home event,” said Dave Holland, Sales and Marketing Director for Palletforce.
The route traditionally takes in some of Scotland’s most iconic and historic landmarks across two of the country’s most picturesque constituencies.
It will be the penultimate round of the high-profile Intercontinental Rally Challenge with a first-class overseas entry expected as well as a number of leading domestic crews eager to make a name on the international stage.
The event could see the crowning of a new IRC Champion as one and a half times the normal points for a win will be up for grabs.
Rally enthusiasts will be able to keep up to date with each stage on Eurosport.
The event takes place from Friday to Sunday, October 7 to 9.
