Palletforce operates from a flagship distribution Hub which, standing at an impressive 400,000sq ft, is one of the biggest centres of its kind in Europe.
The £30million Hub was officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal and gives Palletforce the edge – ensuring it can deliver a highly-efficient, quality service by using the latest smart technology.
Overlooking the A38 at Burton-upon-Trent, one of the country’s major road transport distribution arteries, the Hub is packed with innovative technology including Super Forklifts, a specialist IT tracking system, and automatic axle weighing facilities.
The Hub gives our customers:
- Dramatically fast turnaround times – pallets are scanned automatically for ultra quick loading.
- Automatic pallet weight intelligence to ensure vehicles are loaded for optimum safety and fuel efficiency.
- Greater track and trace visibility so pallets can be monitored at each stage of their journey.
