Role Responsibilities:

  • To organise, manage and maintain all aspects of the Deport Support team.
  • Need to be flexible for working hours depending on business needs.
  • To support and carry out any duties required by the Hub Operations Director.
  • To ensure all shifts are covered and enough resource is available.
  • Complete one-to-ones and appraisals, giving clear objectives and following up to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
  • Taking incoming telephone calls and making outbound calls, whilst also being the main escalation contact to resolve higher profile issues/concerns.
  • Manage and ensure all discrepancies on consignments are resolved efficiently and effectively, using a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Locating possible missing pallets and damages in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner by viewing CCTV footage and being the escalation point of contact.
  • Manage the training of the depot support team.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualifications. Level 2 English & Maths.

Experience. You will have a good working knowledge of MS Office, ideally working with Excel. Good understanding of health and safety. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.

Influence & Persuasion. Self-motivated with drive and enthusiasm. Excellent communication skills. Great attention to detail. Methodical and thorough approach to work. Organised and good at juggling tasks and prioritising. A great team player. The ability to work under own initiative.

People & Self Development. Positive attitude to work in a customer environment. You will be highly organised with good attention to detail, good at prioritising tasks and great team player. You will have the ability to stay calm under pressure and a methodical and thorough approach to work.
