{"id":102267,"date":"2019-10-22T17:29:41","date_gmt":"2019-10-22T16:29:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.palletforce.com\/?p=102267"},"modified":"2021-10-19T17:29:58","modified_gmt":"2021-10-19T16:29:58","slug":"gibbs-transport-moves-to-palletforce-driving-london-shake-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.palletforce.com\/en\/gibbs-transport-moves-to-palletforce-driving-london-shake-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Gibbs Transport moves to Palletforce driving London shake-up"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A family-run haulage firm founded over 35 years ago has become the latest member of Palletforce, the fourth new member in four weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gibbs Transport provides next day pallet distribution, a nationwide delivery service with warehousing and secure storage facilities from its base at Heathrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Formerly a founding member of Pall-Ex, the company will cover SL postcodes for Palletforce \u2013 taking over area from Allport Cargo Services and Downton Thatcham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The addition of Gibbs Transport has allowed Palletforce to secure long-term delivery capacity and enhance service around the capital \u2013 creating further stability for members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The network has adjusted postcodes for six additional members to enhance service for customers while also providing a more efficient area and balanced volumes for members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Palletforce member relations director David Breeze said: \u201cGibbs Transport has decades of experience and a proven track record of successful operations in a competitive area.
