Northampton-based Route 1 Express Couriers will cover NN postcodes, providing additional capacity for continued growth and reinforcing Palletforce\u2019s commitment to deliver the highest levels of customer service across the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Route 1 was founded 35 years ago as a direct mail provider but has since expanded into a multi-division group specialising in logistics, fulfilment services and recruitment. The decision to select Palletforce when joining a palletised freight network for the first time was based on service excellence and the growth opportunities available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Route 1, which also has a site in Widnes, has a 30-strong staff but remains a family-run business. Lee\u2019s wife Jade is Finance Director and his father Richard, who started the company, is Group Managing Director. Lee\u2019s sisters Lois and Abbie work in accounts and payroll, brother-in-law Nick manages the fulfilment division while sister-in-law Dana heads up the same-day and pallet network operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
