International freight distribution network Palletforce has welcomed two dynamic new members as it continues to further strengthen its UK network.

Birmingham-based OnPoint Logistics UK and Q Delivery Services, from Liverpool, will boost Palletforce’s UK-wide coverage in the Midlands and North-West respectively.

Both are young but fast-growing firms, who until now have not been part of a distribution network. They take Palletforce’s total membership of leading hauliers to over 100.

Founded just four years ago by brothers Anthony and Carl Delaney, and with just two vans, OnPoint Logistics UK now has a 75-strong fleet of vehicles. The firm currently serves some of the leading names within the telecoms and IT industry and will take on CV postcodes including Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.

Anthony said: “The decision to join Palletforce is the logical next step in our development, and we look forward to being part of a distribution network which is committed to investing in new services around the world.”

Before launching QDS, director Justin Young was previously depot principal at Palletforce member Dodds Group over 15 years ago. The company has a fleet of 20 vehicles and 45 staff and will cover postcodes from central Liverpool across to Speke.

He said: “We have grown quickly in a short time and we can see a lot of opportunity within the market by being part of a network. It is a competitive sector, but Palletforce was the obvious choice for us, providing us with the unrivalled support and infrastructure we need to continue our growth.”

Palletforce member relations director David Breeze said: “Both OnPoint Logistics and QDS are rising stars in the industry, and we are delighted to welcome such dynamic and forward-looking businesses into the Palletforce family.”
