The Role:
Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce Logistics Sussex, and as a fully qualified Class 2 Driver, you will have the important role of collecting and delivering our consignments to and from our depot, whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.
- Driving our 18T vehicles within TN Postal code area.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times.
- Various HGV duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
- Able to work Monday to Friday, starting at 7.00am to 18.00 hrs
- Available to work Saturdays on rotation basis
What we need from you:
- Qualifications. Class 2 Driving Licence.
- Experience. Previous pallet experience is ideal. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
- Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
- Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and customers.
- Planning & Organisation. You will be adaptable in your start and finish times depending on requirements.
