Palletforce continues to consolidate its position as the UK’s leading express palletised freight network with its latest new member bringing decades of distribution expertise to ensure service excellence in the Bristol area.

West House Transport is no stranger to the world of consumer goods distribution, delivering to trade and retail outlets across southwest England. Headquartered in Bristol and with additional depots in Swansea and Plymouth, it runs a distribution fleet of 30 trunking and collection and delivery vehicles.

Formed in 1990, its primary business involves the distribution of premium automotive products across southwest England and South Wales, and it has come onboard to manage selected BS postcodes around Bristol.

Kevin Young, Director at West House Transport, said: “We are excited to be joining a pallet network for the first time, it made sense for us to diversify our operations and target growth as a business.

“We have decades of experience in B2B distribution that we can draw upon having been involved with the express delivery of FMCG products for many years. We’ve also invested in a dedicated fleet for network operations to ensure the highest levels of customer service.

“Palletforce was the obvious choice for us because of the shared values around quality, performance and ensuring the best experience for network customers.”

Chris Dennigan, Palletforce Network Development Director, said: “We are pleased to have added West House Transport to the Palletforce network and I’m confident that its experience of the Bristol region, market knowledge and expertise as a well-established distribution leader in the area will drive benefits for our members and their customers.

“Having successfully served the area for over 35 years, it knows the demands of consumer goods and B2B distribution, and its trusted approach to quality, customer service and excellence is very much aligned to Palletforce and our members.”
