Palletforce has cracked it again. Generous employees at the express distribution expert have been praised for helping to donate and deliver hundreds of Easter eggs to struggling local families as part of a football club’s charity drive.

Staff at Palletforce, with the help of the express freight delivery network’s member hauliers, were part of efforts to collect more than 440 Easter eggs for Burton Albion Community Trust’s (BACT) annual Easter Egg Campaign.

It is just the latest effort in Palletforce’s long-running partnership with BACT to support a range of community campaigns and health initiatives as part of its dedication to making a positive difference in the areas where it operates and helping to create brighter futures for those in need. Palletforce’s state-of-the-art national SuperHub facility is in Burton upon Trent.

Tia Newbold, Palletforce Technical Analyst and Employee Champion said: “At Palletforce, we’re proud to see our team come together to support local communities. Collecting Easter eggs for the Burton Albion Community Trust is a wonderful example of how our employee champions make a real difference, spreading joy and giving back where it matters most.”

With many families facing poverty both in East Staffordshire and nationally, the donation drive campaign supports families who might not otherwise be able to provide their children with a chocolate treat.

Easter eggs were distributed to a number of community partners, including YMCA Burton, BAC O’Connor and Harvey Girls, as well as BACT’s own programmes. These donations not only brightened the Easter season for many but also supported the vital work being carried out by local organisations across the area.

Eleanor Widdows, Fundraising Officer at YMCA Burton, added: “We are incredibly grateful to Burton Albion Community Trust and their community partners, sponsors, staff, and participants for this generous Easter egg donation. Acts of kindness like this bring real joy to our residents and help us create positive experiences for the people we support.”

Katie Johnson, Head of Community at Burton Albion Community Trust, said: “We have been genuinely amazed by the incredible support for this year’s Easter Egg Campaign. The kindness and generosity of our partners and the wider community have allowed us to bring joy to so many families. Initiatives like this show the meaningful difference we can make when we come together with a shared goal.

“At Burton Albion Community Trust, we remain committed to creating lasting impact across East Staffordshire and beyond. The Easter Egg Campaign is a perfect example of what can be achieved through teamwork, compassion, and a strong sense of community.”
